Public speaking

We love to speak about our experience running a nonprofit and our passion for Girls of the Crescent to audiences in our community. We usually share about how and why we started our nonprofit as well as what our plans and goals are for the future of our organization. Some of our favorite places that we have spoken at have been the Islamic Association of Greater Detroit, the Inspire to Empower event, an Oakland University women in leadership class, the KBK Foundation's Humanitarian Gala, and the Rochester Community School District's Opening Day Celebration. We hope that by sharing our experiences we can inspire others to work towards their goals and strive to make a difference. If you would like us to speak at your school, library, or event, you can contact us and we would love to share our story!
