Yes! We update the list regularly so please let us know and we will look into it and add it to the list if it fits our cause. 

Why is your nonprofit called Girls of the Crescent?

The crescent moon is the symbol of Islam and we are girls helping other girls through our work, so we decided on Girls of the Crescent!

Does your pet like books? 

Yes, in fact, our cat Max loves to sleep on the books from our list! Here he is sleeping on the right :)

Female Muslim main characters is such a specific topic, how do you find any books? 

There are actually many books featuring female Muslim main characters. People think that they don't exist because they are not widely available in schools and libraries which is what we are trying to fix. We currently have around 300 books on our list that you can check out on our home page!
